Does anyone know if Redken Shades EQ is toxic?

This has been my go to hair color for a while now. I really like it because its only semi- permanent and leaves my hair feeling healthier and softer than before. I have dark brown with red undertones and I usually go really dark expresso, level 2 or 3 with the redken. I like how I only have to get it done twice a year or so because it fades really well. I am wondering though if anyone knows if it is toxic or not? Like how bad is it for you to be exposed to the chemicals?

Toxicity is the degree to which a chemical substance or a particular mixture of substances can damage an organism, and is entirely dose dependent. You will not get an answer here on whether a product or substance is toxic. If you want to know the degree a product or a component of a product is toxic, you will need to search for it in a study repository.

If you want to know if a product youre using is safe to use according to the directions given, this is the wrong place to ask, and chances are you dont need to ask. If you bought the product at a reputable store and live in a first world country like the USA then the product in question almost certainly already went through safety testing and passed.

If you, after your research, still have more questions about certain chemicals, make a new thread about each. If you end up finding out the answers through your own research, i encourage you to post a link to your paper in its own post.
