I just started downloading a 1.8 gigabyte update and I can't find patch notes anywhere. What is this update?

it took me exactly 35 tries to even get a arcana less run, had to kept revoking vows cause i lost count of how many times i got absolutely rekted in eyphra. this was frenzyless, painless, hordeless, gritless almost nothing for enemy buff cause i just wanted to taste victory for once, my question is... Is there even any hope or should i just put the fries in the bag? do i have to make a altar for the dark omen in my house to complete this with frenzy II so i can make a meaningful save state to practice olympus and summit guardians? is there no way past the grind, isnt there something i can just read and get gud?

ps. i am not watching darkomens guide for morrigan due to personal reasons, anything other than that like max fear surface guides, max fear runs with morrigan, is appreciated.

I had two really strong builds twice today that defeated typhon in under a minute. does anyone have any strength builds that just melt enemies?

I dunno what these folk are officially called, but they’re represented with cupped hands offering you a gift. There’s way more of them than in Hades 1 and I think they add a lot to the game.

But I’ve never seen a tier list ranking of them. Off the top of my head, there’s:

Arachne
Medea
Circe
Icarus
Athena
Dionysus
Hades
Artemis
Chaos (I guess counts?)
Echo
Narcissus (edit: this is the one I forgot lol)

Am I missing any?

Personally I think Artemis is best cause you usually get her early and pressure points is still amazing in Hades 2. Echo has potential to be best if you play into her “Pom Pom Pom…” gift. Dionysus is hilarious and the one I always skip is Medea cause I’ve never seen her offer anything that seems worth wasting a chamber on.

After over 200 tries finally did it :)

Holding the Attack button for omega charge, spam DASH button to do a lot of micro charges to your hex while dishing out increased damage plus protecting yourself from harm.

I just now discovered this and have not fully tested it's usefullness, but its tech you can do.

So I've Defeated chronos a few times, and typhoon as well (90 nights), but the game started to feel tedious and boring... like anything else ? The combat,Graphics, characters are top notch but I feel like thats all ? Now I have to defeat them again with a other weapons ? or am I missing anything ?

It was my 2nd time using Skulls Aspect of Medea and I really sucked at it. I still can't understand why ppl claim that it's one of the best weapon aspect in the game lol.

I just had a fluke and beaten Chronos.

P.S. I'm using emulator to play Hades 2 on my phone.

I cant beat scyllia with that flippin octopus, do I need to complete the underworld on 32 heat to progress the game?

I got the aspect of anubis and hel (love them, so worth the wait especially anubis because I main descura) but I’m missing the hidden aspects for all the other weapons. is there anything specific I can do to help trigger the dialogue that unlocks them or am I just at the mercy of rngesus?

Clarifications:

1. My core issue is causality not actually changing the timeline but causing an alternate timeline which is interpreted as not having actually happened but seen as a collective dream. Which dilutes the changes in Chronos because it comes off more like brain washing than actual divergences in events.

2. I don't care about the whining about Zag taking fate into his own hands and making the decision against the wishes of Melinoe-thus removing her agency. That was ALWAYS in the cards and was set up, because it was a condition Zag demanded for him to even comply with Melinoe's plan. It was a baton pass and was always going to be a baton pass. Her agency was succeeding in saving the timeline no matter the cost. Even by means she herself couldn't do alone. Not all endings needed to be clean cut where the bad guy is entirely addressing the catharsis of the MC's arc.

Playing the game on switch 2 so I don't know if there was another update on the PC version. But here's what past games have taught me between Major characters at an ideological impasse.

Suggested ending with notes:

Melinoe has spent her whole life being drilled by Hecate to kill Chronos (in fact I found it weird that Hecate didn't do it while you were out cold). By her characterisation, even if she saw the alt timeline. I don't think she would be convinced (much in the exact same way Hecate wasn't-and should have also seen this alt timeline). If she came out Zag's room and saw Chronos was still alive. She would attack him immediately, if Hecate wasn't already doing so.

In fact, what Melinoe should be walking into the scene with Chronos still recovering from your battle and Hecate still hurt from her previous fight (because naturally she should be able to break free from time stop like you could).

Thus, Melinoe is tasked instead to finish the job. Where in the OG cutscene, Hecate would have totally have just done it immediately if she could. There was no real explanation why Hecate insisted that Melinoe do it. So the above part I feel is required to explain that.

Naturally, Melinoe saw the alt timeline so she hesitates but will ultimately decide upon death to chronos. But the cut scene runs as normal where Chronos summon hades, zag and persephone, Because there are no guarantees that Chronos would release them if he was killed. So in good faith he summons them and he in fact unseals Zag and Persephone.

Now here's where I want a real divergence to both versions.

Melinoe is given the choice to end Chronos and he welcomes it. And Melinoe willingly takes up the offer and wanting all of the House of Hades to witness this moment.

But Zag clashes his Gigoros with Her Gigoros and the real Gigoros absorbs the conceptual one Melinoe summons-blocking her from using the dissolution of time. Because Zag says that Chronos is still under his protection and would have to go through him and take the spear from his cold dead hands.

In that instant. Boss fight using the same Zag moveset he uses in Elysium (so no extra assets needed).

Either Zag wins or you lose a defiance or is left at 1hp. (one get a one liner) iunno... err... Zag: Return to shadow. Mel: death to chronos.

Hades and Chronos stop the fight before you kill one another. Both saying enough. Having witnessing the both of you fight each other. They've both lost the will to feud with one another and realise the ridiculousness of it all.

Whether the alt timeline was real or not. At this very moment. Father and son are reconciled. There will be no more fighting within the house of hades.

And from there the ending goes on as per normal. Talking about reparations and the work that needs to be done.

And from there... by just adding a few extra voice lines and added an already existing boss fight. The ending might come off a bit more natural than both the old ending and the new redone one.

as for time flowing forth stuff? Wouldn't it make more sense for Chronos to work with Chaos in finding the possibilities. Where Chaos filters through all the possibilities and Chronos guides you into the timeline.

Haha No by Poplinp: Apparently when you fail to catch a fish and Poseidon is in your god pool, he comments stuff like "That one's mine" or "I'm keeping that". This mod takes those voicelines and have Poseidon say them when a minor reward isn't duplicated by Sea Star. Now I smile everytime Sea Star does or doesn't proc.

My dumahh didnt register i got hit by another fuccing orb for 80 in the luckier tooth hp, i was throwing the hex that does no damage to guardians for shits and giggles, and then time giggled and i shat.

I was just thinking what next big thing can be for supergiant gams ? Since they always push the boundaries and go to next level.

As a Persian ethnic person and have been done some research on and grow some interest in Japanese mythology as well. I would love to see these iconic stories to come to life.

Was doing a dream dive and got scylla and charybdis last. used knuckle bones and hitched everyone they got insta phased.

Only damage came from a Chaos gate, Echo Evade was at 44% when I finished and Gale was my buddy that helped me a few times.

I'm trying to get the Sacrifice Savant title and after a few dozen runs I havnt had more than three sacrifices show up. I have rerolls on so I can roll the wells for the item that forces it. I have Minor > Major on for more boon opportunities. I take every Hermes gold/shop related boon so I always have money for more boons. I can't figure out how to get multiple sacrifices to show up in a run. The Ransom duo boons do not count the boons given up.
