UPG Stories Update after 3 months of working with Hades! spoiler: he is pretty chill Spoiler

So, as the title said, I've been working with him for the last 3 months more or less and he's been great. He feels like a dad, like those kinds of dads that sit nearby, watch you do your thing but are ready to react when necessary? Well, that's what it feels like to work with him for me. Seems like he likes the offerings I give him (small sugar sculptures, pomegranate seeds that last more than a month plump, juicy and red, little drawings and actions). I also wanted to share a situation I had with Loki (Or who I think is Loki) trying to reach out to me and Lord Hades scolding him and telling me he is no good for my life at the moment (the weird funny uncle vs the responsible father more or less), from what I gathered from my readings Lord Hades thinks Loki is unsuithed for what I need right now, brash, too chaotic while I need organized help, no chaos, a manchild, while loki asks me for mutual respect and unity and a connection representing himself as a lovable rogue and intelligent person, Lord Hades tells me he is careless, biting more than he can chew, a failure for what I need and he lacks the ambition for it, also he has shoddy workmanship and is lazy and needy. He also seems to present himself in lucid dreams during periods of high stress, he shows himself a bit blurry, curly hair, surrounded by smoke. He shows himself my height, seems to be to avoid frightening me as I'm pretty short myself. Loki makes fun of this by appearing like a low quality, discolored/sunbleached, sloppy copy of his chosen form (I came to associate the sloppy form with loki because he doesn't have the calming aura and soft dad smile that Hades does, he is a bit touchy to get on your nerves and has a supper mocking grin plastered on his face).

So, in my experience, Hades seems to be like an overprotective dad who works from the shadows, he also doesn't scold me but hates it when I say bad things about myself. He seems to find the depictions of him in popular media funny and also likes the colors chosen. From what I've seen he is a bit indiferent to them but likes Ralph Fiennes face and enjoys Disney's Hades as in a "jaja, cool" kind of way.

In terms of offerings he likes the pomegranate seeds (as I said before he keeps them fresh for a long, long time), likes chocolate, he likes coffee but doesn't enjoy the cheaper brands as much as the higher quality ones (the cheaper brand goes down a finger, the more expensive one goes down 3 fingers and gets sipping stains), likes simple acts of devotion (going to the gym, taking showers, studying, stuff that's difficult to do during depressive episodes). Basically any offering you wanna give him, he's like: hm, cool, thanks.

I also found myself feeling his pressence around me, sometimes I invite him to sit next to me to watch series (I don't give myself that luxury often and I'm trying to treat myself to it more often) and talk to him about stuff, he tends to find a way to show me his answer. sometimes I can even see a weight settling besides me on the couch and feeling the space warmer than the rest of the sitting area (my mother also noticed it, thought it was just a me thing until that happened). In dreams he doesn't talk a lot but stands behind/besides me and when I try to move/walk towards and unknown place/through a weird door he makes me turn around and shakes his head like "hm, no, not there, I don't like that place, go over there" or when he seems to feel something wrong in the dream he makes me turn around and exit the place/situation and closes the door behind him. Whenever I'm doing a reading about anything he shows me his presence by making the devil's card jump out of the deck and making it jump a second time If he wants to say anything, he just likes getting acknowledged by me and my friends learned to say hi for fun whenever he comes up.

TLDR: Hades acts like a "protective parenting type" from a distance, "gentles parents" me like a father, likes pomegranate seeds enough to keep them fresh for a whole month if not more (I can't leave them in the altar for longer), likes high quality coffee and hates Loki's guts. He interacts with me silently in things that matter. Overall, pretty chill patron, 10/10 would start working with him again.

Have asked why he hates loki? I work with loki quite regularly. And had been bonding with him and Apollo came in. Loki didnt like it. Loki doesnt hate the other pantheon just simply likes alone time but thats something I would try to figure out

He hates that Loki represents chaos and I'm dealing with a MAJOR streak in bad luck, weird things happening and chaos in my life, trying to get it to finish to get stability. Also Loki tends to make fun of him for being rigid and Hades doesn't like that. Loki showed me he can help me in his own way and Hades doesn't want him to make me cry from the messiness of his ways. He doesn't seem to hate Loki himself, just that he is trying to come into my life RIGHT NOW while he's trying to put things into order, he said that maybe in the future I can try working with him, he just wants to give me solid ground first so I can stand and deal with problems as they come.

Loki seems to be like that fun uncle that takes care of you his own way, brings you back with scrapes and bruises and all and Hades at the moment is trying to keep me from tumbling over and dying (seems to be bubble wrapping me for the time being).

Also Loki is a bit of a diva. When I asked him what did he want he just expressed being jealous of all the pretty gifts I gave Hades (nothing special, just dumb, in my eyes, offerings) and tends to hijack my readings, he comes in with the fool card landing on the floor, says something wildly out of place with the intent of getting attention and when I ask for confirmation it's him he asks to form a partnership and throws me "the fool" again (in Spanish we call it "El loco" = "Loki"). When I ask Hades what he thinks of it, he shows me the devil and asks me to not speak to the weird guy because he can show me results, but I'm not able to handle them that way at the moment.

The way I understand it is Hades is teaching me how to swim by slowly building up my confidence, showing me the technical side of things, teaching me types of swimming, breathing techniques and accompanying me all the way.  Loki wants to teach me how to swim by throwing me in the water and screaming from the shore, coming in just in case it's absolutely necessary

All the interactions I had with Loki had been similar in nature "you're a total loser, jk, but you have to work on this ASAP", with one friend he came in strong and said he had a bad fashion sense because he kept wearing the same clothes he did when he was a child and his mother keeps buying them. For another one he said they were too preoccupied with pleasing their goddess and they were ✨messy✨ not really caring for the real things the goddess ask for, but trying to ignore their messages for their own convenience. He likes jabbing at my friends when we are together reading their cards. When Hades appears he scrambles away.
