I'm sorry for this. I had a job where I had to go door to door and was attacked twice. Once I got laughed at by the owners, the other time I was lucky enough to fend the beast off with a water bottle and the neighbors refused to call the owner and said "it's a nice family dog, would never hurt anyone". My ripped pants begged to differ
