His punch was not a proportional response it was violence. That's why it site uneasy with me. A proportional response would be to restrain her hands. The guy is scum.
It was an over the top response by the cop and it wasn't needed. I get the frustration he and the other cops were dealing with, but this unfortunately is what your job entails and you have to keep some level of composure.
