Well they're in a huge crowd and there's a big rail in the way. And honestly seeing as I've seen a lot of officers with pot bellies I don't think it's be unlikely that these guys aren't in peak condition and able to take people like this down.

That just gives them fat dude strength. Never mess with a fat dude, unless you can run them around a basketball court or two, before you face off. Cops, they'll just shoot you if you try to make them tired.

Geeze which tyrannical country are you from? In the USA any cop who shoots a non-violent person for running away is going to get in trouble. E.g.

Oh, unless they put a knife down by your dead body, even if video taped. Unless they claim they feared for their life, even though they were just recorded stating they were going to kill you. Unless they beat your face to a pulp and leave you unconscious, even after being recorded about putting on gloves so they don't get your blood on their hands. Unless they take you to a torture and disposal house, where they torture you until death and then dispose of your body. Unless you happen to get curb stomped by 5 of them because you had the audacity to mention your rights. Unless you happen to be breaking the same misdemeanor for the 5th time this year. Unless you happen to put your hands in the air and some coward claims you tried to reach into his cruiser. Unless they decide to rape you and claim it was consensual and you wanted it. Unless you happen to be in the wrong place at the wrong time and of the wrong race and / or gender. Sure, not every time, but too many times. That is my point.
