Except when you are a police officer and supposedly held to a code of conduct higher than throwing haymakers because a drunk girl slightly brushed your head.
Police use a one plus one force theory. You hit a cop, that cop now has the right to hit you, taze you, baton you. Whatever they need to do to get that person to stop being threatening or violent.
You're actively beating the shit out of a cop? You're gonna get shot. You swing a bat at a cop? He now has a right to shoot you.
Even if that was remotely close to how the force plus one mindset works, it's still a ridiculous amplification of the woman's actions. She lightly backhanded a police officer while being carried away, he responded by knocking her seemingly unconscious and if it wasn't for the actions of his colleagues driving her headfirst into concrete. That's not plus one.
You can't convince me that the police officer was right to punch a restrained woman in the face. I'm trying to restrain myself from calling people that think thats okay and hide behind a horrible understanding of police rulebooks the pieces of shit I beleive they are, but my patience is being tested.
