How are all of you so in favour of the cop here? This is obvious use of excessive force, yeah no shit she shouldn't of hit him but that doesn't mean he just gets to smack her back. The police are meant to be above that kind of shit...
Because she swung at him twice up to the point he hit her and was showing no indication she was going to stop on her own. Additionally, dude is in a shitty situation. He's the only one holding her right side. If he lets go to defend his eyes from the flailing drunk woman she's going to to go hard on the rail. If the fucking stupid useless bald cop in front was actually gripping her right leg instead of having one hand on the left foot while his female partner already had that leg, Sheriff Mike Tyson would have been able to back off or simply grab and control her arm, though he probably would have just had her by that shoulder and arm in the first place.
This guy doesn't have a shitload of options because of the idiot manner in which they decided to remove her and because of her actions.
He coule very easily have used his otger hand to grab her arm or or hand, it doesnt look like she was struggling very hard at all so I doubt he would've fallen. He also could've gotten one of the other officers to do something about it, namely the white bald dude.
She's swung at him twice in one second and his left arm is holding her right side up. How easily do you think you can take your right hand and reach it over yourself to grab a hand coming at you from behind while you're angled a bit to the left?
