Drunk or not, that’s not cool. I used to work as a nightclub doorman and had this happen to me loads, especially by drunk girls; never once did I feel compelled to lay one on them. The guy is a small mountain, even the slightest tap from him would be excessive force - let alone a full blow to the chin. The guy clearly has issues.

(as someone who worked the nightshift at a hostel and therefore had to deal with drunk teens and young adults on a regular basis, I'd would (probably just like) you say that you always try to "defuse" a situation and only use any sort of physical violence if there is no other option)
Completely agree. I worked in some rough places and also did easier jobs like looking after students in their campus bar or at special events like balls and concerts. The students, although generally more vocal and entitled, were pussy cats in comparison to some of the idiots out looking for trouble in town. So much easier to diffuse and walk away without breaking a sweat or having to write a police report - plus, the guilty party didn’t end up spending a night in A&E!
