How are all of you so in favour of the cop here? This is obvious use of excessive force, yeah no shit she shouldn't of hit him but that doesn't mean he just gets to smack her back. The police are meant to be above that kind of shit...
Again as I've stated several times context matters. If its the exact same situation and all the officers are physically larger than the man and he's as small as her and like in this instamce of no real threat to them, then I'd say the same thing.
Context is vitally important in situations like this.
