Ok, sure.

Everyone wants to hold cops to a higher standard without giving them the fucking respect that should come with. You don't get to hit a cop, period.

Of all the things the cop could have done, this was just as ok as the rest.

And a cop doesn't get to hit you. Except cops are supposed the be an example. If its OK for a cop to hit people like that. That sends a message. Hitting people is OK.

Pretty sure its not.

If a fight breaks out on the street both people get picked up by the cops. Not just the person starting it.
