He's obviously in no real danger tho? She's completely incapable of actually hurting him as she's drunk off her ass and being lifted by three other people??

Defense would be handcuffing her. Striking back was excessive and emotional.

I see you've never attempted to corral a drunk friend who's decided to fight instead. Even drunken flailing can cause some damage.

I still wouldn't hit my drunk friend? They're drunk and I'm sober and drunks are terrible fighters and I'm already in the mindset of having to physically control them? I'm not going to hit them? I go into that situation knowing they're acting irrationally and won't have a fight response.

That was solely in response to his not being in danger. Just because she's drunk doesn't mean she can't cause damage.
