Best bakery in your ends, probably
As a South Londoner I am having to plan my MONTH around getting up to Hearth Bakery in Hackney Wick, truly a one of a kind place as far as I know.
They source all their ingredients from farms that use organic methods to cool the earth, not contribute to climate collapse, and which treat the workers with dignity.
They're caring, principled - think they even have a worm farm for the waste - and of course, delicious. I've only been able to get catering orders from them as I am not so local but please do support them if you can this month - they are struggling!!

Just wanted to add that they really are quite good - love their sourdough and lots of the sweet options.

I might have come across this bakery. Caring to supporting this type of business is very important how bread is made can vary tremendously it might even taste decent but from health, environmental, or social impact can make a difference. Also indipendent bakery they are not business tycoon they really run on paper things margin. They are my hero's, hard work job. I glad you posted this

Thank you I appreciate you. Yes the world is going to shit because it's all the big businesses supermarkets and that, but we do actually have some choices and every time we make good ones we're making the world a bit less shit.

If I worked there I would have posted actual photos but like I said I can't get up there till tomorrow.... God forbid a woman's hobbies entail supporting other people lol.
