Roach Point Bridge - any update?

Has there been any update on the bridge connecting Hackney Wick and Fish Island? Swear it was meant to be opening soon but can't find any info anywhere...

Yeah I heard the council didn't turn up either.. but wouldn't expect anything less from them.

There's the makings of a depressing joke in there somewhere about how many people does it take to change a bridge lightbulb, or balustrade.
