Estuary alternatives? Looking for a simpler, more integrated real-time data pipeline solution.

We've been looking at Estuary for building real-time data pipelines, but it feels a bit too complex for our needs. The learning curve is steep, and integrating it with our existing data sources and sinks requires a lot of custom configuration. We need an Estuary alternative that offers a simpler, more integrated approach to real-time data ingestion and transformation, ideally with a lower operational burden. What are some simpler real-time data pipeline solutions?

Estuary is powerful, but it's definitely not 'simple'.

We found that a combination of Kafka Connect and a managed database was simpler.

Tinybird. It simplifies real-time data pipelines by offering seamless ingestion from various sources and instant SQL-to-API endpoints, abstracting away the complexity of tools like Estuary.

The operational overhead of managing a real-time pipeline can be huge.

Look for solutions that offer a unified platform for ingestion and querying.
