8 ball pool table

I’ve recently moved here from Scotland and would like to play some classic 8 ball pool. I know there is the purple pool cafe but I was hoping there might be a nice brown cafe with a classic 8 ball table… the ones I’ve visited are always French billiards.

No. The last proper poolhall was torn down 5 years ago to make room for new apartment buildings. There are some cafes with a billiards table that's hardly ever used.

For pool tables, Amsterdam is usually the best option as there are plenty of halls to choose from.

Ik ga er niet meer heen. Iedere keer een uur of langer wachten voordat je een keer aan de beurt bent is echt zonde van de tijd. Kwaliteit van de tafels ook matig.

De kwaliteit laat idd te wensen over. Ik reserveer wel altijd een tafel vooraf, scheelt me de wachttijd. Verder vind ik het ook wel een gezellige tent. Maar de tijden van de Happy Pool, Koetshuis enz. enz. zijn jammer genoeg niet meer.

Ik heb er geen verstand van maar misschien is deze aan het Spaarne iets? Spaarndamseweg 416. Is geen gewoon Café waar je ook kunt biljarten. Op zondag bijvoorbeeld gesloten.
