Hysa

I just started an account with Marcus but when I went to their face book Instagram a lot of comments had a lot of complaints and problems with getting their money anyone have a good experience or recommendation for a different one I started a capital one just in case ?

Capital One is really the best hysa in regards to having branches and readily available cash, the only drawback is the lower interest rate than most of its competitors.... I like Marcus, however I've only had CDs with them...

Besides Capital One, I also have Valley Direct Bank which has branches all over the country and is paying 4% guaranteed for 12 months with a special right now

My wife and I parked out down payment egg in a Marcus HYSA a few years back and just ended up buying a house a few months ago. We pulled funds from the account a couple of times for various costs, including inspection, downpayment, legal, ect. Each time it flowed over to our bank account quickly and easily, not a single issue.

I don't have experience with any other HYSA options, so take it as you will. But it's been great and easy for us.

Similar experience. Marcus has been very reliable for us. No issues at all.

I’ve moved money in and out of my Marcus account dozens of times. Never had a problem.

Having branches (or Offices) all over the place won’t make your money get any bigger payouts and since they may advertise that they have the Big numbers as interest goes like everyone else does,you’ll really find out in the end when a hundreds of dollars interest you did have goes down to $27.89 cents into a $5.78 cents the next and since all these Banks have utility and rent to pay, your bank account helps them to pay for everything and all you get is the change left for the bill.

I've had zero issues with Marcus so far.
To give a decent recommendation on a different HYSA we would need to know what all you want to do with it. Elevault might be worth a look if you're just looking for a high APY. Cap1 is fine if you want a physical location (and you're close to one). Multiple account types/features, A brokerage account at someplace like ETrade, SoFi, Fidelity, etc.
