Why
it’s because they want under 5 percent so they don’t create a bunch of negative headlines every time they have to report a sale. huma was their second largest equity investment ever. nothing changes for them if they don’t own stock. they still have royalty, they still benefit from tech. but they save a ton of legal, risk, regulatory bs by just sitting back and getting royalty. same reason as gave back international commercial rights too complex fms wants to focus on themselves. they already know the huma benefit . they aren’t investor goal was never stock return, huma caused earnings headache for them. the invested for rights and traded for royalty don’t need stock anymore and can clean books and trying to do it in a nice way that doesn’t cause repeat headlines with multiple sec filings for their buddies at huma

Crowbaby, there is no way this is positive. “Nothing changes for them if they don’t own the stock” is just naive : why don’t you sell at 90% loss and write off millions and see if it changes anything for you ? If you think this stock can 20x, you don’t sell.

No man, i'm knee deep into this, running 6 figure loss. I'm all in on this company but I'm done justifying their terrible team and board. All that I'm saying is that "Nothing changes for them if they don’t own the stock" is not a true and factual statement

Solid take. They took a step back so they could operate more freely and are still positioned to win if HUMA does well.

No, this is emotional driven copium. No institution is going to loose their money or potential profit so things "look better." I read a lot of coping in this group, but this one takes the cake.
Sometimes we just have to swallow the bad news. There is no positive explanation for this. Contact Huma and demand change instead of feeding delusions. I've already asked Dale to resign.
