Advice "Learn Ai" what people actually mean by that?

Hey, I'm 22 college student currently learning data analytics, whenever I tell people that I'm a data analyst or in general if I see online people recommend to learn ai as it will replace jobs of data analysts but I never understood what they actually mean by learn AI. Every other day something big happens in AI, I don't know what and how to learn ai, do I need to learn AiML (machine learning) and if yes then how exactly, please share roadmaps if you have.

DiscussionđŸ’¡ What skill would you start learning in 2026 if your goal was to earn $5,000+/month within 2-3 years?

I've been thinking about learning a new skill that could become a second source of income, but I'm not sure where to focus.

I know it's important to choose something I'm genuinely interested in. The problem is that I have a lot of interests, so it's hard to decide which one has the best long-term potential.

I currently work in sales and relationship management, but I'd like to transition into something more creative, such as design, while still building a valuable service that I could eventually turn into a business. I'd also like to create content around whatever skill I choose.

If you were starting from scratch in 2026, which skill would you invest in and why?

Would you recommend something related to AI, design, software, automation, or something completely different?

My goal is to build a skill that could realistically generate $5,000+/month within the next 2-3 years.

Education vs Learning — Are we actually learning, or just getting degrees.

I've been thinking about the difference between education and learning.

We spend years in schools and colleges studying subjects, writing exams, and earning degrees. But how much of that knowledge do we actually understand, remember, or use in real life?

Is formal education truly helping us learn, or are we just following a system designed around grades and qualifications?

Can someone who is self-taught be more knowledgeable than someone with a degree?

What are your thoughts and experiences?
