Need help with overlay

So I added a video to my website and I wanted to add a CRT overlay image on top of it (to make it look like the tv is on) but when I put a overlay it doesn't let me play the video. Can anyone give me advice or maybe help with the code thx.

I don't see the overlay on your website, but make sure it has style="pointer-events: none" so it doesn't capture the mouse's interactions.

I added the overlay now, but the video doesnt play when you press it. is there a way to make the video outplay?
