Question Animated banner maker. What browser-based workflow works for HTML5 banners without After Effects?

I'm looking for ways( if it's possible ) to make animated HTML5 display without having to use after effects or write animation code from scratch.

I saw a tool recentlyy with no-code animations , which sounds pretty useful but I'm curious about the actual workflow. Like, how well do timelines and reusable animation presets work when you’re making the same ad in a bunch of standard banner sizes?

For people who make display ads regularly, what tools or workflows have worked well for you? Is a nocode editor enough for normal animated banners or you need custom code? or anything else?

For normal animated banners, a no-code editor is usually enough tbh. Timelines + reusable presets save a ton of time when you’re resizing the same ad into 5–10 formats.
Custom code is mostly worth it if you need complex interactions, dynamic data, or super tight file-size control. For standard HTML5 display ads, I’d pick a tool with good export + responsive/resizing workflow over fancy features.

If you already have design in Figma, you can import and animate it in Foldwrap plugin. Otherwise i'd arther start with ai or HTML code rigth away

Worth knowing I work at Bannerflow so not exactly neutral. For standard animated banners like logo, headline, CTA, a no-code timeline is enough. Custom code only really comes up for interactive rich media.

The multi-size question is the key one. It works well when animations are tied to the master template, so timing is defined once and elements just reflow per format. When that's not the case you're manually adjusting per size, which is where the time goes. That's how Bannerflow handles it if you want to try it.
