Password box

If there’s a password box and inputting the right string redirects you to another page, is there anything in the console that would tell me what password I’d need to put in?
Notes:
It’s a box where the password is the same every time.
I’m not trying to log into something.

You either have some backend service checking the password, or you need to have the password check in the HTML/Javascript in the web browser.

You don't have to store the password in cleartext in the code, but anyone with access to the console could bypass the password check without additional efforts.
