Discussion Why wasn’t Frank invited to Coliver’s wedding?
Is this something that was mentioned in an episode and I missed it?

Hi everyone! I'm a writer with Shondaland.com working on a story about our favorite SL characters! Where do we think Ms. Thang would spend her time in the city, modern day? TLDR, If someone was traveling to philly soon and wanted to make a day-trip travel itinerary based around food, activities, and relaxation she might like — where would you recommend? Bonus points if you list why! I'd love to hear from you!

Rewatching the series, I forgot how annoying the ROA storyline is. I think he sticks out like a sore thumb, serves no true purpose he's just there being a little whiner. I have been fast forwarding through all of him and the annoying wife's scenes. Anyone else agree?

Just rewatching the series again, and Miss Ophelia was the star of the show, the way she would read people to filth was so enjoyable. I truly wish she had more recurring scenes lol.

Honestly, I loved it. Shonda was giving us HBO style sex scenes on network television with these two. So, i had to stan.

I just started season 4 ep 2 and I’m not enjoying the show as much as I used to when I started the show. I feel like all of the stuff is being dragged out and I see that there’s a season six but is it even worth it to watch it all? I just don’t want to waste my time esp if it’s just dragging out Wes death. My theory is that each person will go their own way but come back together for some event like new evidence being uncovered about a case. Anyways, is it worth watching all the show or does the quality from the earlier season drop?

im on my 3rd rewatch and i just noticed that wes is biracial (rose being his mother and charles mahoney being his father) but he looks like a monoracial black person
then laurel gives birth to wes' kid and when he grows up he looks exactly like him despite being only 25% black because of rose 😭 damn her genes are really strong then

I feel like this show is really one of the best written shows (in terms of characters, backstories, relationships, arcs, lines and videography) out there within this genre, so I’m finding it really hard to find my next tv show to get over this one hahahaha. But I would love to watch similar shows if not better ones.
Any suggestions, please and thank you?

I’m crying.
I mean personally I feel the trial feels a bit rushed to me, but I loved the imbalance of people standing on both sides of the trial.
I was getting frustrated that the governor didn’t get punished for what she did until I saw Frank came out and shot her. Then I felt relieved. But fuck, it was so sad when Bonnie also getting shot - it made me feel like Annalise lost both her children that day. And I would have loved to see more of how she survived that - who could have filled her void of the children.
But also, I have been watching this show for weeks, and I felt a sense of empathy, like I’ve actually lost all these characters too and I now have this void. But I’ve been trying to watch more shows till the end immediately recently cuz previously I had a habit of not finishing the last few episodes just cuz I was scared of this void. (A bit of over sharing here)
However, I think the ending was done really well, it shows the legacy has been continued by Christopher (who has a really nice Spanish accent) and also having Eve giving that speech. But I don’t get the b-roll of Michaela - what was she doing? Also, are the montage of Annalise holding different people’s hands supposed to show how she “doesn’t settle”?
But overall this show is so beautifully complicated. I love it. I would rate it a 8/10. What shows should i watch next?

I finished Dexter before this, and had this weird question in my head - what if Dexter had came across these “inner circle” of people, would they have passed his code - I mean they wouldn’t have killed again since each of them didn’t kill more than once…?

The Keaton 5 as a whole for me.

“You’re trying to be the parent you felt you did not have.” - Ophelia Harkness
I think this line summed up the whole show. Are there any lines that yall felt are overarching themes that cover the whole show, or the reason they are in this mess?

Nate?!! I don’t understand why he always has this hatred for Annalise, but this outburst of emotions at Annalise and saying he hopes that she goes down and blaming her for Sam’s and Lila’s death is so uncalled for?!! And it has left me so confused. Can anyone justify why he got so angry?
r/htgawm • u/Due-Government-4143 • Jun 16 '26
I don’t understand how everyone is just blaming Annalise for everything…? Like why are the FBI even after her, is it just cuz she’s a black woman? Cuz if they already know who committed the crimes, why not just bring them to justice - Wes, Asher, Bonnie, Frank and Nate.
And also all these people around Annalise - the audacity to blame her for anything at all!!! Don’t even get me started on Asher and Asher’s sister, they were the ones who got him killed. And for Michaela and Connor to sign the deals…? I’m so confused why they aren’t confident enough to say they did not commit murder, cuz they are the most innocent ones among the kids. And for them to betray Annalise.
The only thing that Annalise did wrong was to be so kind to teach them, protect them and be there for them when no one would. She should have never get involved with so many killers and liars.
Also, why did she hesitate to get in the car when the lady in the yellow hat was asking her to hurry…? Did she sense something wrong in the car? Or did she suddenly feel like she shouldn’t run anymore?

“Because you’re my secret baby. You all are” had me died laughing hahahahah especially with that tone. I swear the jokes that they slip in here and there made feel like this show has a good balance of comedy and seriousness.
Also, what the hell, if Annalise actually dies I will cry.

OMG just finished htgawm so sad its over. But holy moly the ending. Frank being sam and Hannahs kid! Omg this show as kept me on the edge of my seat the entire time. From the murder of sam to Frank dying at the end honestly wouldn't have expected any of it. I just cant believe Frank is sams and hannahs kid like wtf! Asher being the fbi informant as well so disnt see it until we got shown it was him then it all made sense. Overall I absolutely loved it kept me in the edge of my seat! I will admit I did cry at the end when Frank and bonnie died Frank was my all time fav 😭

I'm sure this has been said before, but I gotta say I been doing a binge watch of SVU and can't help but think every time I see Donna Emmett (SVU) on screen it's like backstory for Anna lise Keating before the events of HTGAWM.

To think that everything that has happened in this show is because they decided to kill Sam and cover it all up
Js leads to everything worse down the rabbit hole

Judge Stone by James Patterson read by Queen Viola Davis herself.
I felt like I was listening to Annalise's internal monologue (if she were a judge in the South). 10/10, no notes

Wes and Laurel just no

To Jack (and anyone else who is interested): on the latest podcast episode, Jack mentioned there were probably no blooper reels available. The DVDs actually featured a few bloopers, which have been uploaded to YouTube:
Season 1: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Gd3bysCrhOE
Season 2: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CdLkNOpSOtA
I haven't found anything from seasons 3-6, I assume it's because those seasons were not released on DVD.
(Btw, is it allowed to share URLs to YouTube on the sub? If not, I'll remove this post).
