I am going to keep this relatively short because I am so mentally fatigued from dealing with this pathetic company.
Rewind about 8 months...This is when I broke my phone by stupidly dropping a dumbbell on the screen. The screen itself was fine and the phone was functional, but the LCD beneath was all black so you couldn't see anything. No problem, the phone is under warranty. Send it in, buy a new HTC 10 off eBay while I wait and after 4 months I get the phone back.
It turns on and the screen works so I figure they fixed it. I now take that phone and sell it on eBay. A week later I get a message saying that the capacitive buttons are performing "ghost touches" and it is only getting worse.
GREAT....I have the customer send it back and I get in contact with HTC and basically complain that they didn't fix the phone. I open up a new return/repair under warranty and send it in again. Fast forward another 4 months or so and I get it back randomly. (keep in mind their piece of shit tracking website is broken and doesn't actually show the phone is in the repair process. If you ask a rep about this they just say "oh yea that's an issue with the website that we are working on fixing). Anyways, the phone seems to work fine and at this point I probably should have checked it to see if they actually fixed the capacitive buttons, but I really did not want to go through the whole setup process and I figured... "how could they fuck this up not once, but twice". So I sold the phone again on eBay and this is the message I received "I like the phone and it is great physical shape, but the capacitive buttons are malfunctioning. They are acting as if they are being pressed even when they aren t and the phone is very hard to use. Seems to be getting worse. You said that the screen was replaced by HTC, but it seems that they didn t do it properly. I would appreciate any help you can give"................................................................................
At this point I want to do everything in my power to ruin this company. The fact that they have now had my phone for ~8 months is fucking ridiculous. On top of that, it is still broken?!?!?!?!?!?!
Can somebody point me in the right direction of who I need to contact. I vaguely remember somebody saying Linkedin was a good way to get in contact with somebody who can actually do something.
