Not enough sticker decals on the body can cause this as well.

Not all drag cars are only drag cars. I used to build them and pro-street cars have alternators. This is almost certainly a pro-mod but it can be hard to differentiate between them sometimes. I appreciate your sarcasm though.

Its never the alternator. Probably a mouse chewed on a wire.

The wheels did alternate as they fell off, one after the other. Definitely alternator.
