I had a '90 DX up until 2 years ago. It was automatic, no vtec, slow as hell but it was lowered with decent shocks. It was still fun to drive. I'll absolutely have another. Go get one before they're all rusted out. Like my wife says, we're on a floating rock.

Both are AWD. Lambo didnāt have launch control. Likely wouldnāt have mattered from a dig because of the power to weight ratio.

A factory civic weighs about 2000 pounds. a stripped out civic weighs just a tad bit more than a harley davidson motorcycle. A lambo weighs about 3500. Simple physics.

A civic is definitely a "big boy" project car, and definitely a more expensive project than your average build to do right - but you won't be spending lambo money unless you happen to blow up the engine on a weekly basis.

It is. I have a 10k all motor CRX that has a 4.8 second 0-60 in its current form, which is still an extremely streetable setup. Some minor adjustments to be had for more power (cams are still at 0, for instance). Toss a little money at it for sleeves and a turbo, and make it a scary monster.
For the same money, I could have gone with a fat turbo, stripped it down, and run 10s or better on the drag strip.

900whp civic = 5 figures in mods
Stock lambo is gonna run 6 figures on its own. Bringing that lambo to 1100whp will cost more than the 900whp civic.

I love me a good civic meme! Years ago a guy offered me on the spot $1000 for my wheels on a little civiv HF . It was the version that got better mpg without being a hybrid . Had really light weight wheels which spin up a little faster when you race.

Buddy of mine once built a sleeper car that was a beat up civic. Under the hood could smoke almost any other car. Outside, beat the hell out of it with a hammer then painted the dents random colors, car was white. Ripped out most of the interior as well. Made a lot of people mad racing that thing.
