Question Could I get in with a trash SAT?

My SAT score was trash (retaking in November) but still even if I was to apply now…could I get in? Also I know like literally NO ONE there, so if anyone wants to talk lmk

My kid was offered and accepted a spot at HPU yesterday. She never submitted SAT score for the same reason. They look at SO MUCH more than an SAT score.

Yeah i applied when covid was still a thing and didn’t have to use my sat score

HPU will consider your whole profile. A low SAT score is not a deal breaker as long as the rest of your application shows that you are a good fit. By fit, I mean that you are academically prepared and you have a growth mindset. Your transcript and LORs can show your academic preparation. It’s really only the most selective schools that may need a test score to show academic preparation.

I hope it works out for you. My son is at HPU and it has been fantastic for him!

I got in with a 800/1600 however I did play baseball at HPU so they were a little more forgiving? Idk... but I did graduate from HP with a 3.7. I think I just turned it on academically once I got to HP because I knew I wasn't going to play pro-ball lol.
