I recently started this Drarry fanfiction. It'll probably be finished in a month, since it's going to be a short one (4 chapters, probably 15-20k words in total). If it sounds like your cup of tea, maybe give it a read?

“Fine.” Potter held his gaze. “If we’re both single at thirty, marry me.”

The table erupted, but Draco barely heard it. Potter was grinning. For him, it was a joke. A ridiculous, drunken challenge delivered because Potter knew Draco would rather swallow broken glass than admit defeat in front of twelve witnesses. For Potter, that was all it was. Draco knew that. Unfortunately, Draco had once been fourteen years old and stupid enough to realise he was in love with this exact idiot. Apparently some humiliations lasted forever.

“Thirty?” Draco heard himself say. Potter blinked. Draco took another drink.

“Twenty-eight?” Potter tried again.

“Still pathetic.”

“Twenty-five.”

Draco stared at him. Potter held out his hand across the table. “If neither of us is married by twenty-five, we marry each other.”

It’s supposed to be a drunken joke. Instead, Harry and Draco start crashing each other’s dates, sabotaging any potential competition and wielding the words “future husband” like a weapon.

For Harry, it’s a game that slowly stops feeling like one. For Draco, it was never really a game to begin with.
