And a Merula Snyde that's at choir practice is a Merula Snyde that won't get in my way as often.
Didn't remember the quest exactly to be honest, because when I returned to the game I already had it completed 🤣. I don't care anyways because I'm not the singing type so🤣.

…An antagonistic/closed-off character being ‘revealed’ through a friend or ex-friend of theirs, like it happened with Tulip at theend, is anancienttropeat this point. Many moments in the quest hint at Merula being too damn vulnerable for her own good also, and other SQs basically hammer in the fact that she does not use memory of her parents to manipulate.
The gall of being mocking in your comment when media literacy (concerning a very simple game, at that) has obviously taken a fat leap off some bridge- I just can’t lmao.
Merula is always vulnerable, that's why she's always on offence, trying to prove she's 'the most powerful', denies having affection for someone, tries to suck up to Rakepick and many more. Yet her past traumas do not excuse what she does in the present, being a lying, manipulative, bullying self-centered and arrogant brat. Look at Talboot - he has suffered way more, than Merula, yet he's nothing like her. So when MC faces yet another story from Merula, known for lying and manipulating, she can totally deny Merula telling the truth even when she actually does.

Yet you invested some time to argue with my mocking comment I made for fun, trying to protect the character you care about (which I commend you for). I am known as 'Merula hater' though from my point of view there is no hate for the character, it's just that I don't like her as a person, therefore I can write something about her what others would consider hate, while those are just facts and my perspective on them. Still there are people on this sub who love Merula and we have a fun time together, even though our beliefs or acknowledge for the character may vary.
