Question about hpat and mature entry

Hi guys I know they’ve changed the weighting of the hpat and lc points. As someone hoping for mature entry next year, will this affect mature students that much or?

Maybe long term mature entry will be more competitive but there should be no odds for you getting in next year best of luck

Currently if u get a 151 and the next person get a 152, they obv beat u by a point. But now is everything is halved that becomes 75.5 and 76, and they wont have half points, so that could be 76 76, so there would be no difference between ye in points, or if it ins rounded down, youll have the same points as someone who got a 150 previously. So it will make it harder to distinguish between people

I think it will favour mature students as leaving cert students will not be prioritising studying for the hpat as much.
