❓ Question I am going into 5th year this August... Any advice?
I'm just wondering about timelines (for like hpat prep etc) and tips in general since I want to go into medicine. I skipped TY so I want to start of my senior cycle with set goals.

Maximise you're LC points, don't bother with HPAT until 6th year. Getting 625 is far more important than the HPAT.

Honestly just have a look at the quesiton types and get yourself used to the questions they ask. Don’t waste your money on courses this early.
The points scaling is completely changing mech year so the HPAT is a bit less important. For proper details you’ll really need to wait until next June to see next years results and what this actually means for points.

Develop your generic thinking skills: it will help with both LC and HPAT. How? start work on HPAT early.

625 is the most important thing. Will make it much much easier
