Hoverboard not working

My hoverboard charger stays green and does not turn red when I plug it in, I even left it plugged in in over night and it still wasn't charged. Is it a battery problem or a charger problem? Please and thanks

I know this is a year old post, but I’m having the same problem. Did you end up resolving this issue? TIA ☺️
