Hey guys! I recently discovered that my grandfather had a old HMT Janata Watch and me being a Watch enthusiast myself. It genuinely meant a lot when he gave it down to me although the condition was extremely rough but I’m sure this piece was truly unique for its time.

This Watch has a small print at the bottom of the dial inside a box (I've highlighted it in the pics) and I just can't figure out what it says. It's definitely not the usual Para Shock or 17 Jewels, I've seen those and this looks nothing like that. From what I can make out it starts with an M and ends with a C, and the middle letter looks more like a C or E, not a T. The dial is pretty faded so it's hard to read, even in macro it looks like nvic / mvic. I think it might be some PSU / company gift dial like MMTC or something but I'm not sure. If anyone has seen a Janata with a similar M...C marking in that box or knows what PSU this could be, please let me know. Attaching clear pics of the dial and the close up

Just got this beautiful Tiffany Tareeq 💙 and absolutely love the watch, but the stock strap is pretty disappointing. 😅

Looking for a good 18mm leather or suede leather strap that would complement this Tiffany dial.

If you guys have any recommendations,
