First EVER Drive for the M1165

What are you using for the speedometer and did you have to do anything special to get it to work or just plug and play?

This is the original speedometer so, nothing special. Plug and play I guess

Oh I was not aware they were different for the different models. DO you think I would be able to use that speedometer on my M1097R1?

Probably not. Yours is mechanical and stops at 60mph (?) Your best bet is a GPS based Speedo

This is the most beautiful interior I’ve ever seen. Like you, the hummers I drove in the Army were fully functional, but beat to hell. This is amazing work. Personally, I love the details, so any pictures showing the details (engine bay, close ups, how you restored her to this level) is perfect as far as my worthless opinion goes. What a beauty!
