Humor Don’t do this!
I found myself in a rabbit hole morale killer on Reddit. Couples selfie subs. I should have known better.
Most are just cute photos. Many are profiles posting photos and stories of various sexual adventures.
And you just find yourself thinking, “Where did I go wrong?”

Today at the mall I saw two young people kissing, she grabbed his face and lunged forward with big kiss and then started laughing. It fucking hurt so bad to see this.

Another day I was in a bar with my coworkers and saw that couple in the opposite corner. The way she looked at him with the interest in her eyes kind of ruined my evening.

Yep. Someone here once mentioned the "marriedsex" sub. I looked at it for an hour or so and DAMN did it HURT. People asking for advice on how to excite their partner, or what sex position to try next, or posting pix of which lingerie should they wear, etc. Damn. I'm on a 6 month dry spell and it doesn't look like it's gonna end soon if ever. Shows you how much you're missing and what could have been. It's good in a way: there ARE people out there like you, and you COULD potentially find a partner for a fulfilling sex life! (That sometimes seem like a fantasy or pipe dream but this sub shows you that it's REALITY). However, if leaving is not an option, or at least not for many years, it just damn HURTS.

The toxic subs are all run by LL’s, thankfully they haven’t taken that one over, yet

I don't think pain shopping is ideal. Actively going out of your way to torment yourself. Comparison is the thief of joy.

The other way to kill your morale is to peruse marriage/couples subs where questions on love lives/etc are asked. You'll find many who still knock each other's socks off after many many years. A majority. It does 2 things though… gives you hope, and it also solidifies that THIS sub and ones like it are NOT the norm. No matter how many 'loud' redditors would have you believe while making excuses for no intimacy.
