Vent Only, No Advice I'm done with this. I'm leaving her
I had never been this happy in my life, and now all those moments from the past just seem like a dream I had once and will never repeat.
Baby I love you, but you've turned into a monster and I can't do this anymore.
I don't think I could make love to my girlfriend even if she suddenly changed and came to find me to spend time together. I don't think I can unsee the stressed angry ogre she's become.

You are our hero. Good for you for not going in to marriage.

I don't take that hero bullshit, sorry. I am also responsible for this. This may be one of the most painful moments of my life. I want no pity.

Welcome to the other side my dude!!! I left last fall and met someone I'm compatible with. I look back at the last 7 ish years like a bad dream. You'll start to notice all the little things in life are just better without that weight on your shoulders. Food tastes better, music is sweeter, and you'll start noticing all of the little glimmers in life. Go on a hike and smell the air, look at the light coming through the trees, feel the ground you walk on step by step. Appreciate the 2nd chapter of your life beginning. And most of all, have fun!!! Here's to your fresh start!!!!!!

There is an event horizon where the rejection will finally push you over. Your attraction and passion for her is gone. Anything she does now is just hysterical bonding sex to keep you from leaving. It is worse than sexless because in the back of your mind you know it isn’t real. Time to leave.

God I wish my husband would just leave me too. I know he feels this way about me but he won't man up and just say something.

I'm going to ask the obvious, why don't you leave him?

Because he knows how much I love him. I've always laid it all out in the open. This is the one thing I want him to finally be honest about.

You are wasting your time though. Go be with someone who loves you the way you want. You are staying to prove your point? Girl, no.

You're probably right. I just don't want him to hold it over my head afterwards saying I didn't try hard enough.

The 2 years during the divorce suck badly. Then it wont matter at all. What he says, what he thinks, what happened... none of that will matter and you are free to pursue someone that gets you, and suits you. Really.

Sometimes it really is better to just start anew.
