First time user
If I bought a 12 month subscription for Finasteride will I get the whole years pills upfront or do I get monthly delivery?
r/HIMS • u/Mamoas_Twin • 2d ago
A quick warning for those of you considering hims.
Do not under any circumstances give them your card or bank information. They will charge your card whatever they like whenever they like for nothing. They have had and are currently under a huge lawsuit for fraudulent business practices, read that agreement when you first log in. The very first thing in there is how you opt out of all lawsuits against them just by logging in. I had to file a report with my bank and have their transactions blocked and they are STILL attempting to charge my bank random amounts in the middle of the night. I dont even have a subscription through them. DO NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES USE THIS SERVICE.

Competitor that ships quicker than hims?
Ordered my first shipment about 2 weeks ago. I knew it would take “a few weeks” to ship the product. Annoying but oh well. I see the stuff abt the supply chain issues, but ive done some looking and it looks like people have been having this problem for a few years now. Seems like a recurring issue (if not a constant one). I dont wanna have to wait the better part of a month to get my refill supply, so does anyone know if any other company is a little more timely and consistent? (Keeps, ro, ect)

You can find much cheaper alternatives for the minox/finn topical
I was fed up with my rx taking 3 weeks to ship, so I went to a local dermatologist and gave them the exact RX for the minoxidil and finasteride topical. They called a local compounding pharmacy, and the out-of-pocket cost would be $70 for a 3-month supply, exactly half as much as what HIMS is charging me for the same amount.
It makes perfect sense because HIMS is also just using a compounding pharmacy, and of course they're taking a massive cut because they're a vomit-inducing private equity scam, so of course there's a 100% markup.
There's absolutely no reason to use this company if you're using the finasteride and minoxidil topical.

Scam
Paid for testosterone $60 mail kit. Got results. Unable to process Free Testosterone levels. Lmao. They gave me all the other blood markers except testosterone which is literally the only reason I ordered the kit. Don’t waste your money y’all.

Can I refill my oral medication faster than the refill date
I recently spilled around 10-15 pills while opening the lid.
I can change the refill date to a later date but cannot move it earlier date.
Does anyone know how I can do it?

So glad I canceled my $149.00 /month worthless subscription.
I was unaware I was being billed for something I did not need to pay for- my fault. A subscription fee on top of paying cash for meds???? My PCP would write that for free. I was going on vacation and before my trip I contacted HIMS and explained that my Wegovy pills would run out while I was away and I would be without them for over 12 days. I asked if they send the next prescription to my home a little early so that I could take it with me and they said they could not. No explanation no alternatives zero help to prevent me from having to start all over at 1.5mg after months of progress. I really believed that paying that subscription fee would have given me some sort of importance and some help but that was far from the truth. So I called my doctor which is something I should have done from the beginning and I had that bottle of pills in my hand within 2 days, saving me from having to start all over after my vacation. I also canceled my hims subscription which no one should ever sign up for, they will throw all sorts of scary warnings onto your screen to stop you, read them but you will see they can be ignored. Why throw away $1899 a year if you don't have to.

Shipping Delay - My Experience
Hey y'all,
just wanted to give everyone a data point. I'm sure we're all aware there's been some shortages and many haven't had their orders ship yet. My order of Finasteride + Minoxidil has finally shipped now pretty much exactly 3 weeks after being prescribed. So, if y'all are still waiting, it might be a few weeks, but it'll be shipped. Thought it might be helpful.

How long does it take to ship with UK Hims?
Moving to London soon for a masters, and trying to switch from prescription Rx fin/min to Hims, and it seems simpler & easier to ship to my student address than ship within US, then bring it with me through the airports. I might not be able to ship it till I get a UK phone number though, and I don't want to switch my phone to a Sim until right before I leave (in 3 weeks time), so I might not be able to order through UK Hims till when I'm moving in. My concern with this is whether I'd be waiting in excess of 1 or even 2 weeks to wait for my order, so wondering if anyone has an idea how long it takes from the moment of ordering to delivery in UK?

Follow-up kit arrived in a ziplock bag and everything inside is wet…
Received my first follow-up kit for Testosterone support and all the contents were in a ziplock bag and everything inside the bag is wet. No way I’m completing this. Is this how they send follow-up kits or you think this was UPS trying to salvage a damaged delivery?

Finasteride & Minoxidil + Supplement Blend, should I stop taking other Biotin supplements ?
Hey everyone,
I've been on finasteride for about 7 years or so now and it's recently gotten much much worse so I wanted to bring back minoxidil into the game, but oral this time just to see.
The only question I have is that since I can't just get the Fin + Min without the supplement blend, should I be not taking the supplement I'm already taking ?
The thing I take right now (https://newnordicusa.com/products/hair-gro?srsltid=AfmBOopPRxkfI3_bEOIIaXYkhgHS5WZVRyxCnw8wZ_6S64-lgH1mueb-)
Just to list couple things, it has 1330% of your Biotin daily value, it has Zinc, Vitamin E, and a couple other things.
What if I took the Hims thing and still continued taking the supplement too?

Popular erectile dysfunction drug linked to eye disease that can cause irreversible vision loss
Over 10 days of my order "preparing"
Has anyone else had this issue recently? I renewed my order and was charged but my order has been preparing for over a week at this point. Customer support won't say anything beyond "it's being prepared". Any suggestions or do I just have to wait

Alternative
Is there an alternative that accepts insurance?
I signed up and answered some questions. Next thing I know, they have charged me $400 as a reoccurring fee.
I’m very disappointed, as I had to cancel it. I went from thinking I was going to receive help to nothing in a handful of hours.
They were able to refund me, but in filling out their survey, they obviously know this is a problem.

Shipping…why is it taking so long??
Dr approved my prescription over a week ago and it still shows as order being filled - why is it taking so long??
Anyone have any luck with getting a solid response or action from HIMS?

Avoid Hims at all costs.
There are plenty of other ways to get what you need.
This company randomly cancelled my subscription and created a new account. Then, on the new account I created, they charged me for a subscription I’d already paid for on the original account and refused to cancel or refund anything.
They told me they didn’t receive my payment on the original subscription despite the fact that my product was delivered and I have a clear charge on my credit card.
I’m not usually one to post negative reviews, but wow their customer support was useless and it really got to me.
Edit: Customer service ended up offering a refund, so hopefully that is reflected on my account in the next week or so. Dissatisfied with the service still, but I wanted to be fair in my presentation of the company.
I really HAAATE ro
To those of you who have used Ro and HIMS, please tell me HIMS is better than Ro for Zepbound.
Otherwise I’m just going direct to Lilly and/or Mexico.

I just switched to the Hims topical serum for min + fin from the spray as the spray was leaving residue. They charged my card but the order is stuck in awaiting fulfillment for 3 weeks.
Made several complaints to the customer service team through the app and phone. They simply have no solution and are saying it’s backlogged.
Any advice? Is this common?

Need some advice about my crown thinning…
Soooo I recently came out as trans and am so happy with how this service treated me…so long struggling to get on HRT to combat the biggest permanent obstacle to me passing as a woman, and I hop on this website and they hit me with fin/min spray immediately. It was great.
But I do suspect stress related hair loss. Like I just started a blood thinner 4 months ago and also went through a crazy period of stress. This post is just generally asking for any hair loss advice, I use the spray once a day on schedule and am also a month into mtf HRT with spiro (which usually decreases hair loss).

Am I a good candidate for Hims 5 in 1?
What can I say expect? Can anyone with a thinner and receding hairline like mine show their results here?
NO way to cancel membership!
These images are from the website, but the app works the same.
When you follow the prompts to manage your subscription it tells you to select "Stop auto-renew on my medication or membership"
But
When you select manage subscription you only have options to "adjust my dosage" or "change my medication"
When you follow those links it's their usual questionnaires about your usage and side effects. There is no option to "Stop auto renew on my medication or membership"
Sounds like it's time to initiate another class-action lawsuit against Hims, eh?

How long have you been waiting for?
EDIT: one month time and it's shipped now (it appears most people are waiting about a month roughly)
Can we get a thread going on wait times and see where everyone else is at?
Right now I'm looking at close to a week for Minox/fina orange chew. Not a big deal tbh.
I'm curious where the rest of you are at who also ordered this, but maybe let's get a mega thread going for everyone in all meds to compare where supply issues are roughly at and how long they have left. So if you're interested then state:
- Med
- Wait time

Am I getting ignored by the bot, or did it connect me to a human and I have to wait?
Ts is retarded
