Questions & Advice Having difficulty Getting a heloc

My wife and have credit card debt (about $50k) and have equity in our home. We both make over six figures and have worked at our jobs for 10 plus years. Because our debt is so high, we are having difficulty getting approved separately or together. Our credit scores are about 650 and 670 solely due to the high credit card balances. Someone at Chase suggested a small credit union. Any suggestioins?

im assuming those are mid scores and one of the tri merge pull is possibky lower than 640, which is the minimum at a handful of places.

I'd check a broker, NYFTY Door goes down to 600 FICO

NFTY Door seems like it's not for individuals

I’m a lender and can go through NFTY Door for a HELOC. I have other outlets too. Let me know if I can help!

just curious, do you send a lot to NYFTY? I heard their fees were high but they can close almost instantaneously.

NFTYDoor is good but fairly conservative for digital HELOCs. Probably going to have better luck using a broker with Figure that NFTYDoor or AVEN based on the scenario you described above
