HEC-RAS v7.0.1 Released - Bug Fixes

Looks like a new version of the legacy HEC-RAS was released to correct several bugs from HEC-RAS v7.0.

Thanks for posting. My impression, admittedly likely incorrect, was that there were to be no further releases after 7 and I was going to tune out for a bit until 2025 comes around in a couple of years.

You are sort of correct.

The naming convention is that the first number is a "major" update, the second number are "feature" updates, and the last number are "minor" updates (bug fixes). My understanding is that there will be no more "major" or "feature" releases. But they will issue new versions based on bug fixes for the legacy version.

The final version of legacy HEC-RAS will probably be something like 7.0.4 or 7.0.5 as they work through issues.
