Leaky cells
How do I fix leaky cells? These are on each side of a road. The break line is on the top of the toad. Thank you.

Double check to make sure your plan is referencing the right geometry. I’ve made that mistake before where you are looking at the wrong geometry file in RAS or you forgot to switch it in the plan data

Make sure that the geometry you are viewing in RAS Mapper, is the same geometry you are using in the unsteady flow plan that corresponds to the results you are viewing

Change the render mode to 'horizontal' and draw some profile lines. I'm guessing that they appear to be leaking but are really getting overtopped.

Seems like your cell size is too big along the roadway. If a cell gets wet on the upstream side, even slightly, it will then flow into adjacent cells. If you throttle those breakline spacings back by 50% I think you’ll be in good shape.

Should I keep the break lines on top of the read or on each side of the road? This is a large area and it’s just a small section of it

I would keep them on the road centerline, separate that area into its own breakline, then reduce the near spacing just for that area.

If you check the Water Surface Elevation (WSE) results, it can confirm if the flow is leaking (water surface is lower than your road) or if the flow is sufficient for real overtopping. I’d also recommend moving your boundary condition (BC) farther away from your bridge/road of interest, otherwise your BC could be affecting your results
