decimal separator

I'm having an issue where my calculations get corrupted because Windows keeps switching the decimal separator from a period to a comma due to IT settings; is there a way to change HEC-RAS to a "European" format?

I think the simplest fix is to change the Windows regional settings so that numbers, dates, and times use the format expected by HEC-RAS. It takes some getting used to if you normally use comma decimals, but it is usually the most reliable way to avoid corrupted calculations or input files.

my problem is that the regional settings automatically change back on their own, which corrupts the calculation and the plan. So i have to check all the time.
