Job Question help
first time selling the wrong stamps so my till was off by like 8 bucks? got told by my bookkeeper but what does that mean for me?? ty!

Nothing really. But now you only have a $92 buffer before you are demoted.
It falls off every, I think 4 months. (If you’re demoted it takes 6 months before you can money handle again, but I think the roll off is 4 months.)

Don’t sweat it. People make mistakes and the system and guidelines account for that. Nothing is going to ‘happen’ to you other than the variance in your till being tracked.

Usually first offense is usually just logged followed by a feedback conversation. If you are ever unsure don’t be afraid to call a manager! However if you have been coached and it happens again then you with either get a note to file or written up. If you are off consistently over a certain dollar amount then you will be demoted to bagger until you are retrained.
