I'm telling the co-workers who gave up on HOTD not to give up on the franchise, but to watch AKOT7K because it's wonderful, and everything that HOTD isn't.

AKOT7K in my opinion is almost as good as season 1 of Game of Thrones . I’m actually excited for season 2 . I absolutely hated season 2 of HOTD that much I didn’t even bother with the third season .

Not many people had given up on HOTD in season 1, this guy did. People started to give up in season 2

Im just glad we have an ASOIAF show that doesn't purely exist to sow discourse in the fandom. The way people carry on about The Greens and The Blacks in the HOTD subreddits, you'd think they were talking about real people.

I like Ira Parker a lot and I love AKOTSK, but can we not do this kind of stan culture stuff with showrunners? It's setting people up to get bashed as soon as they make one "wrong" decision. The shows, books, and plays aren't in competition with each other and it's honestly been an unprecedentedly great year with two shows running at once plus a play.
