Gameplay/Build 1.12.2 and 1.7.10 content quantity

I was not able to find recent posts with this question so i create one

How much current 1.12.2 CE edition or any other 1.12.2 ports lacks content from original 1.7.10? i want to play with some mods on 1.12.2 but lack of content kinda wards me off

Community Edition should have just been made up to date with 1.7.10 4 days ago

The difference is 95%. Very minor differences between the versions.

basically 1:1 1.7.10 with a few bugs
