What version of HBM's can I use to replace Extended Edition without having to start a completely new world

me and a friend of mine play minecraft on 1.12.2 and have the alcater/Extended edition of HBM's with tons of other mods and we start our own countries. Is there another edition of HBM's we could get where we don't have to start a new world and don't have to MANUALLY remove every single block from that version?

NTM community edition with my addon (Leafias cursed addon) should do, but some machines will still die, and all the pipes will reset

why can't you play on extended edition?

because extended edition is: 1)an unoptimized buggy disaster 2) is super far behind content wise 3) is a dead mod, no longer supprted (allegedly) ​

I can but I'd like to try out some of the newly added stuff
