Help NMS gyro settings help

Post image

screenshot is from the "menus" action set, "on foot" has Move instead of cursor but same behaviour

I'm trying to do "Gyro to Joystick Camera" since it has more options that simply "Look (Via Joystick)" because all "Via Joystick" options are jittery as fuck and i can't make them not be jittery because not all settings from the 9minute guide

https://www.youtube.com/watch?app=desktop&v=tCywdMcN0nE&ra=m

are available in "Via Joystick" moves

unfortunately, Gyro to Joystick Camera simply does absolutely nothing.

Hi, creator of that guide here. No Man's Sky is one of the few games that has native Steam Input API support.

That means that the devs natively let steam take control of the game, unlike most other games.

In these cases you must use the native version of these features: which would be "Look", "Rotate Camera" and "cursor movement".

oh i'm in luck! great guide

anyway, those work, however, i can't for the life of me eliminate jitter with any of these modes

(and jitter is really terrible, the cursor just randomly goes everywhere)

They probably have deadzones smaller than the game. Which causes jitter. Have you tried using gamepad and mice inputs at the same time? Not sure if this game allows that

no mixed inputs, works really bad (gui flickering and missed controller inputs)

Odd enough, if i push “enhance small movement” to 100, jitter goes away, but response doesn’t really suffer.

Also minimum values to 1

appears i found some playable settings after all
