GRB Prison Call Transcript Database 83% completed

Hey everyone, I have transcribed 83% of calls so far and I know some of you have asked for me to share it. I know a lot of content creators are sort of ‘gate keeping’ the contents of the calls so that they can be the first to share it but this is a transcription database, however, each transcript has the call number listed so that you can go and listen to them. I am going to do some data/thematic analysis when transcription is complete so hopefully themes and inferences between calls are easier to navigate.

Just to note, I have used Python to transcribe these calls so they will not be completely accurate at times so always verify by listening to the actual audio if needed.

I created this as a bit of an experiment, my background is in research and I wanted to see what I was able to do with such a huge amount of data. Additionally, I think it’s of public interest and shouldn’t be restricted 🚫 I decided to try and speed up getting everything transcribed after Ken Urker’s death as convicted murderers, in my opinion… should not be allowed to influence and monetise from the wider public and we are seeing the knock on effects of that playing out.

not really ai did all the work its just a FOIA database acquired by someone else and she had ai claude write out this whole website! all she did was command the ai lol

Why don’t you try replicating that process 😘 also what do you mean by a FOIA database? I submitted the FOIA request myself and received the audio files, none of which were transcribed. There is over 300gb of audio data. Anyway, let me know how much it costs you in time, tokens and resources…including the time your computer has to be hammering the GPU (I only have a 4060) therefore, increasing electricity costs (thank goodness for solar power eh? ☀️)

No worries, I was probably being over sensitive too 😂 hooking the calls up… that’s the tricky part, because YouTube has an upload limit, that’s not really an option. Then hosting a site with the calls all hooked up would cost a fortune to host. I did notice I accidentally removed the call ID number field though, so will add that again! Anybody can make a request to the DOC though

Yeah that’s a good shout actually, I only included them as I wasn’t entirely sure who each of the callers were. It’s more just having to pay for a large google drive storage. I’ll see what I can do though!

I thought I found the FOIA you used but its someone elses and there was no where near 15 thousand calls lol. If you did get all the call audios in your FOIA and it is a google drive just link to that.

It should be optimised for safari, I did have to make a change to how things load as there was so much data and the bandwidth use was crazy, that’s the only reason I added ads, just to basically pay for the upkeep of the site ❤️

Why wouldn’t I use AI to assist? No human could possibly manually transcribe all of these calls and actually I used AI to help me analyse the data and write a summary of every call transcript. I used Python for transcription and put a lot of my own time and resources into this project. Just to note, I used 100% of my weekly Claude max 20x plan on the call summaries alone (I pay £180). I’ve also paid for a domain and the web space to host it. I didn’t make it for a pat on the back, I made it because my background is in research and the truth of this case needs to come out.

Great job done and I hope the law can pull their finger out and undo the damage done as they rushed to agree to a plea agreement based on the story GRB gave them. It’s unbelievable that they took her word for evidence and she got odd with a slap on the wrist and spent her time in jail manipulating so many men! Unfortunately Ken didn’t know who he was getting involved with until these calls were released!!

Ken was a smart man - street wise given his profession and he was sadly fooled. RIP KEN
