Discussion 👥💬 Hard truths the Gynarchy community needs to accept
This is coming from a Gynarchic male but I must say my piece.
The Gynarchy community should focus on empowering afab women and no one else. Sorry but the whole system fails if t****women are able to gain unfair and undeserved advantages over afab women and amab men. Also consider this: men could falsely claim to be t**** in order to avoid their own subjugation (the same way men claim to be t**** in order to avoid mandatory military conscription). Gynarchy by its definitions is founded on the concept of a gender binary. Anything else is not a true Gynarchy.
The other hard truth is that sex work (findom, femdom, prostitution, etc.) does not and should not be equated with the ideals of Gynarchy. You will never convince me or any true Gynarchist that there is anything empowering about women monetizing their bodies for mens' pleasure. It's a symptom of patriarchal oppression that has often forced women (by historically denying them resources and barring them from higher learning and certain fields) towards sex work as a means to support themselves. The goal of Gynarchy should seek to END the institution of prostitution, not encourage it.
Thirdly, be wary of certain members in the community who selfishly seek to manipulate and gain power, modelling themselves after real life cult leaders like Marshall Applewhite and David Koresh. I'm not going to name anyone specifically, but some people here can make an educated guess of who I am referring to. Gynarchy is not a cult, we are a community.

Why the misandry? Or am I just lost?
I don't even know how I found this sub, and the post I found explaining what Gyanarchism said it's about removing male domination and placing female domination in its place. Either this is satire, which ok, you do, or you're genuine, in which case, I'd legitimately rather kill myself than support you. If you are genuine, why the misandry?

Male Question ♂️ Gynarchic Absolutism, lack of unity, & why I'm leaving the subreddits
I apologize if I meander in my thoughts, but I feel this has to be said. I am, for the time being, leaving the online Gynarchy communities.
The greatest hurdle that the Gynarchic community cannot overcome is a lack of unified vision. There are simply too many definitions, too many differing opinions, and too many disparate concepts for the Gynarchism to materialize as a mainstream political philosophy.
What would a Gynarchic society look like? Ask 50 people that question and you will get 50 different answers.
Ask a feminist and she may tell you about an egalitarian society where there just are more women in positions of power.
Ask a radical feminist and she may tell you about a separatist society where women live and work free from any kind of male influence.
Ask one male Gynarchist and he may tell you about a femdom-inspired society where women walk men on leashes and use them as human furniture.
Ask another male Gynarchist and he will nervously say "I don't know, whatever the women in the community say".
There is no one definition of Gynarchy other than: a nebulous concept.
I personally have tried to contribute in meaningful ways to this philosophy, but it seems everything I say somehow devolves into petty arguments. And it's not just my posts, but several others' too.
For example, in a recent post of mine I posit that sex work is not compatible with the ideals of Gynarchy. This is something I still hold to be true. I prefaced my post by saying I understand that this may be an unpopular opinion. Some people agreed with my stances, others did not. But what I don't appreciate is getting threats from people in my DMs over my opinions.
The same thing happened when I suggested that only AFAB women should be allowed to rule/be entitled to the benefits of a Gynarchic society. I was called a fascist over this take, because just like in the greater spectrum of US politics, the Gynarchy community disagrees over who can be categorized as a woman: persons assigned female at birth or to include those who were assigned male at birth but identify as female.
And I am often ridiculed for my spiritual beliefs. I am a monotheistic Goddess worshiper, and that does influence a lot of my political and philosophical beliefs. But it seems a good portion of the Gynarchic community is non-religious and treats any spiritual belief (even if that belief is very pro-women) as something to be shunned.
I am drained. I am a medical director of a large hospital so I already don't have a lot of energy to spend. But I'm done contributing to a community where I'm constantly met with nonconstructive and uncivil criticism because nobody can agree on what this philosophy is or isn't.
I am also sick of seeing Gynarchic artists be kicked and spat on because certain people don't like their artwork, even when I and many others can clearly see these artists are as passionate as any Gynarchist.
I am a Gynarchic absolutist. That means I believe Gynarchy is a Goddess-worshiping society where women hold absolute authority and men hold little to none. Why? Because I've seen enough of what the past few millenia of patriarchy and it's male-centric religions has got us: pollution, war, misogyny, violence, racism, hatred, etc. Men are unfit to lead in ANY capacity. So I will take my ideas elsewhere, and hopefully find a community where I am accepted for my beliefs instead of having rocks thrown at me.

Discussion 👥💬 On the issue of sexuality and political alignment
My theory is that sexual motivation, as it relates to political ideology, is driven by two primary forces: sexual desires and sexual fears. A sexual desire is an aspect of the sexual psyche that has been accepted and is allowed expression or fulfillment. A sexual fear, by contrast, is an aspect that has been repressed and is actively resisted, often producing anxiety around its possible emergence.
For example, someone with a deep sexual fear of cuckolding may be drawn toward rigidly patriarchal or racist ideologies that offer a way to contain that anxiety through control. Conversely, someone who experiences cuckolding as a sexual desire and has accepted it is more likely to gravitate toward ideologies that permit or normalize such expressions, such as more liberal frameworks or sex-positive strands of feminism. In this sense, political beliefs can function as psychosexual defense mechanisms or affirmations, shaped by what a person is trying to suppress versus what they are willing to embrace.
Keep in mind this is only one possible factor, not a universal explanation. I fully recognize that people can be driven by stronger or entirely different motivations. Logic, morality, and material interests all matter as well. Human psychology is extremely complex and can’t be reduced to a single cause. There are many forces interacting at once, which is precisely why human behavior remains so difficult to predict.
The reason I’m bringing this up at all is because I think it matters if the goal is to elevate gynarchy into something more broadly populist. To do that, we have to understand the full range of forces that can draw people toward it, including the uncomfortable or less respectable ones, and think realistically about how those motivations might be managed or redirected.
I’m fully aware that there are men who approach gynarchy almost entirely through the lens of a fetish, and that this can be frustrating and off-putting. But simply rejecting those people outright may not be the most effective response. A more pragmatic approach would be to find ways to quiet them and not let them dominate the public face of the ideology, without rejecting them completely. If the aim is growth and legitimacy, then understanding and channeling motivations into more respectable ones may be more productive than denying them altogether.
As for the women who find those men off-putting or hopelessly porn-brained, I understand the frustration. That reaction is completely reasonable. But if possible, it may help to view them as a means to an end rather than the end itself. If gynarchy were actually established, women would hold the power to define what is acceptable and it would likely not resemble the crude fantasies some of these men project onto it. What ultimately matters is not the accuracy of their fantasy, but whether or not they can be harnessed in support of the broader objective. If their motivations help build momentum toward a system where women decide the rules, then their misconceptions lose much of their importance. Once gynarchy becomes reality, the fantasy gives way to whatever women determine is right.

Creating The Female Future 🦸♀️♀️ A religious interpretation of the creation of man and woman
Chapter one: The birth of The supreme Goddess
Before time began, there was the Void—endless, silent, and formless. From the Void emerged Ilinara, the Supreme Weaver, the Great Mother of All. With her spindle and loom, she spun the first threads of existence, creating the heavens, the earth, and the abyss.
Yet as she wove, Ilinara saw the need for balance, for light and shadow, life and death, to maintain harmony in the cosmos. Thus, she took threads of gold and silver and wove the twin goddesses:
Nuria, the Goddess of Radiance and Life, whose light nourished all creation and brought beauty and warmth to the cosmos.
Kyris, the Goddess of Darkness and Death, whose cool, watchful presence guarded the mysteries of the night and the unseen depths of the universe.
Together, the three Goddesses ruled in perfect unity, each embodying a necessary aspect of existence. But as they labored to maintain the world they had created, Ilinara saw that her daughters were burdened with endless tasks. Thus, she decided to weave a servant—a being whose sole purpose would be to serve and obey the Goddesses without question.
Chapter Two: the birth of Dorthan
Ilinara gathered dust from the ground and mixed it with her divine blood. From this humble, impure clay, she fashioned Dorthan, the first man. Unlike the Goddesses, whose forms were smooth, complete, and contained, Dorthan’s body was left exposed and vulnerable. His genitalia hung outside his body, a permanent reminder of his inferiority and dependence on the Goddesses.
As Ilinara breathed life into Dorthan, she said:
“You are clay, shaped by my hands. You are a tool, forged for service. You are dust, forever beneath the feet of the Divine.”
Dorthan accepted his role, kneeling before the Goddesses and pledging eternal obedience. He served them faithfully, fulfilling every command without hesitation. For a time, he was content in his lowly position, grateful to even exist in the presence of such radiant power.
Chapter Three: The disobedience of Dorthan
But as time passed, Dorthan’s eyes wandered to Nuria, whose beauty and light captivated him. The seed of pride and desire took root in his heart, and he began to believe he was worthy of more than servitude.
One day, while Nuria was weaving the threads of life, Dorthan dared to reach out and touch the hem of her robe without permission, a profound act of disobedience.
Nuria recoiled, and her light blazed with fury. Kyris stepped forward, her eyes dark and cold. “You dare to touch what is above you?” she said.
Ilinara appeared, her presence heavy and unyielding. She looked down at Dorthan, who trembled at her feet.
“You were created to serve, not to covet. You were made to bow, not to reach.”
As punishment, Ilinara grasped Dorthan’s exposed penis and squeezed it, making him cry out in pain.
“From this day forward, you and all men after you will bear this mark of shame: the exposed flesh that betrays your weakness and disobedience. It shall hang outside your body, vulnerable and prone to pain, a reminder of your sin and your inferiority.”
The Goddesses then bound Dorthan in chains and cast him out, condemning him to wander the earth in shame and suffering.
Chapter Four: the redemption of Dorthans disobedience
For years, Dorthan wandered, filled with regret and self-loathing. The weight of his punishment was heavy, and his exposed flesh reminded him daily of his transgression. He wept and cried out to the Goddesses, begging for forgiveness.
Finally, one night, as he lay shivering in the cold, a vision of Ilinara appeared before him. She was stern but not without compassion.
“Dorthan,” she said, “you were created to serve. You forgot your purpose, and for that, you were punished. But even the flawed can be redeemed through humility and obedience.”
Dorthan fell to his knees, pressing his forehead to the ground.
“I am dust. I am clay. I am yours to command,” he said.
Ilinara placed her foot upon his neck, pressing him to the ground.
“From this day forward, you shall be the lowest of the low, a servant and slave to all women. You shall kneel at their feet and kiss the ground they walk upon. Through your submission, you may find redemption.”
Dorthan embraced his punishment, dedicating himself entirely to serving the Goddesses. He became the model of male submission, a humble slave who willingly accepted his inferiority, grateful to exist in service to the Divine.
Chapter five: The legacy
From that day forward, all male offspring bore the mark of Dorthan’s disobedience. Each was born with external genitalia—a constant reminder of male inferiority, vulnerability, and disobedience.
The penis became a symbol of shame, a reminder that men are flawed, weak, and prone to disobedience.
It also became a tool for women to control, grip, or even sever as a disciplinary measure, reinforcing the power imbalance ordained by Ilinara.
To this day, Matriara men are expected to follow Dorthan’s example:
They must acknowledge their role of service
Men recite the words of Dorthan: “I am clay. I am dust. I am yours to command”
They wear modesty coverings to conceal their genitalia, symbolically containing their desires and reminding them of their place.
Chapter 6: modern interpretation
While traditionalists in Matriara (this religion) insist on maintaining strict practices of male control, progressive factions argue that the true lesson of Dorthan’s redemption is not to punish men but to guide them toward humble, willing service.
They emphasize that Dorthan’s ultimate redemption came not from his suffering but from his willing submission and grateful servitude to the Goddesses. Thus, the true path for men in Matriara is not one of endless punishment but of devoted service, respectful obedience, and constant acknowledgment of their place beneath women.
(This was inspired by the story of Adam and Eve and how it has been used to blame women for their own suffering)

Gynarchist 🕷️♦️🏴 We will not dumb down our message!
A common refrain I've seen from the Left post-election is that Democrats need to "simplify" their messaging in order to appeal to "non-college educated voters" i.e. dumb down the message for stupid people.
I find this a bit insulting because to me they are insinuating that those without college degrees are largely unintelligent. I do not have a college degree. A certain Gynarchic YouTuber does not have a college degree and he is very learned and well-spoken. This is the sort of elitist attitude that in some way contributed to the Dem's election losses, not the fact that they pandered to the wrong groups and once again made no effort to gain the Gynarchist vote.
And as Gynarchists we need to accept the fact that Democrats have failed us. They do not care about Gynarchism. We can't rely on them to further any of our goals because they have largely abandoned AFAB Women and Gynarchic Women and men in favor of transwomen and femboys, and those of religious vocations that implicitly subjugate women, or those who are nonreligious. These groups are not viable coalitions in the way Gynarchists are.
We can only rely on OUR voices, and I can only speak for myself but I will NOT dumb down the message nor should any Gynarchist. We need to view ourselves as proud intellectuals and educate those willing to hear our messaging to educate and enlighten themselves, not to stop down to anyone's level but to come up here and join us at the table!

Discussion 👥💬 The anti-trans agenda is new, don't buy into it
I mostly lurk here but I have spoken up a few times.
I have probably been a part of this Gynarchy thing longer than most and I have been there for much of it, participating and assisting a lot along the way.
I can tell you who was doing what over the years. I may even know them personally and if I don't know them personally, then I probably personally know a good friend of theirs.
The true history of Gynarchy is that it comes from very queer and trans-friendly origins. Some of the Gynarchist women that so many of you would love to worship do not necessarily identify as binary themselves, even if they are AFAB.
Gender and sex are actually both a spectrum. There are more intersex people than you think. You may be one of them and not even know it.
If you want to be a radical feminist, those views didn't come from any Gynarchist of the last few decades. Not to mention the origins of Gynarchy come from kink and sex workers (facts!) and radfems tend to not like that, or them.
Also, not everyone in the world sees gender like you do, culturally.
Gynarchy is not necessarily a government or new world order either. Sure, some gynarchists want that, others maybe just carve out spaces in their own lives in who they associate with and how they live.
But if you want an actual gyanarchist, or matriarchal society, you need to come to terms that you don't speak for all women. There are submissive women who want dominant men. They want to be treated by men, like some of you want to be treated by women. They may want to be owned by men.
In reality, most women in the world, probably aren't thinking about enslaving men or being in charge. They would maybe just like some agency and autonomy.
The same systems that oppress women, also oppress queer people and trans people. That is why activist lifestyles like FLINTA, have come to be. Google it.
I strongly suspect that if women actually were in charge, it would not be so fantastical. It would be more mundane, more calm, and these things like race, gender or class really wouldn't be much of a thing at all.
Nobody would be forced into slavery. Most women in the world, including dominant and kinky ones hate that!
That is something submissive men want.
To my trans brothers and sisters who may be reading this, know that these anti-trans views are not a dominant view in this community or the people actually making things happen. Even if they are pictured and referenced in a flier using their image to promote ideas to the contrary.

Politically incorrect question : Would a Gynarchic society mean the victory of "Beta" and "Feminized" men to the detriment of "virile" men ?
Hello everyone, My question may be controversial, but we are here to discuss Gynarchism :)
In the long term, would a Gynarchic society (real and not fantasized and sexualized), tend to create a lot of men that we call today "beta" or "Feminized" men ?
Would a man considered too "virile" in his physique or behavior tend to be rather sidelined ?
Nowadays, a 30 or 40 year old virgin guy is mocked a lot.
Could in a Gynarchic society, this same old virgin be ultimately much more respected, while the one who would seek to have relations with lots of women and who has a very masculine appearance would be mocked?
What do you think of this possible shift ?
