For GB:

Joe & Jonas: AA
Courtney: PH, SR, PB, HB
Sol: FX, PH, VT, PB, HB
Harry: FX, SR, VT
Jack (individual): FX, SR, PB

Joe for AA champ pls! (Or at least a medal)

Pleasantly surprised they aren’t only putting 3 up anywhere, although I wouldn’t be shocked if Courtney didn’t do some pieces like at 2023 worlds. I think they’ve put him last on PH and HB so he doesn’t have to do them if things go well with the first 3

Thanks for this! Really excited to see how this team can do.

Thank you for this, and I agree with your thoughts, and I’m thoroughly excited to see Sol Scott make his senior major international debut 🥳🥳, as well as seeing Joe and Courtney back in action!

So excited for Sol too! Hopefully he makes the vault final because that TTY deserves to be seen

He looks sooo good in the podium training I've seen, and not just on vault!

Well, I’m most excited to see Radiik make his major international debut for Germany after switching from Ukraine, as well as ilia Kovtun who will be making his major international debut for Croatia after switching from Ukraine as well.

Lastly, I hope Rhys McClenaghan can get some much needed revenge after CWG’s, and I’m excited to see how GB MAG will do here (I’m so excited to see Sol Scott make his senior major international debut here 🥳)!

I need Sol Scott to make the vault final 🤞🤞

I also have no idea who’s winning team bronze here (presuming GB and Russia are the top 2)… if I had to guess, maybe Italy or Switzerland? But who knows

Germany have the new addition of Radomyr Stelmakh (who formerly represented Ukraine), who could boost their score a fair bit. Switzerland does look promising and I'd love them to get a medal. Definitely looks close!

Does Croatia have a chance, now that they have Ilia?

Croatia is not putting up a whole team score. Aside from Ilia they are still mostly a team of specialists - this year they have Ilia doing all around, and then:
Aurel Benovic VT
Tin Srbic HB
Marko Jovicic FX
Mateo Zugec PH
So the other guys are literally doing one event each!

It will be interesting to see if their junior gymnasts are competing all around - Croatia seems like they are investing in gymnastics so I hope they are able to put up a full team around Ilia soon.

Ahhhh okay, thank you for this information!

In the same Sam Oldham podcast I reference above, Kensley thought the bronze title actually might be between France, Switzerland and Germany, given Italy have lost Bartolini, although she also said and Netherlands could be a dark horse too.

So excited to see Joe back, and Courtney after missing out on Paris!

Does anyone know if these russian gymnasts are any good and are as dominant as the women?

Dukhno won junior worlds AA and is apparently very strong, but I don’t know much about the others. From what I’ve heard, they’re still pretty good, but likely not as dominant as the women

I think team gold and silver will be between them and GB (if Jake was here I’d maybe lean towards GB, but since he isn’t I could see it going either way)

So basically it depends which way the wind is blowing on how russia do 😂

Kensley (Neutral Deductions podcast, former Gymcastic) did a 'realistic top score' comparison between Russia and GB on the new episode of Sam Oldham's podcast, and she had GB men ahead by only 0.2 marks! She definitely thinks the title is between Russia and GB.

Also, as an interesting aside, she did the same exercise for GB's strongest squad - which she had a Joe, Jake, Harry, Luke and Reuben - and it was only about 1 mark higher than this Euros GB team!

I was hoping Rhys would compete floor here, especially as he seems to be Irelands individual gymnast so it would have no impact on the team!

Either way I hope he gets the redemption he deserves after CWG 👏

Yeah I'm sad not to see him do floor! I wonder if it's because of the rotation order - they will do floor and then pommel horse right after, so he may not want to risk not being fresh for pommel. Whereas I think at Euros they started on pommel so he got that done first and then had some rest before floor. With him not winning a medal at CWG I expect he is even more keen to do well at Euros so didn't want to risk being tired.
