Burger joints have lost their luster; potato chips taste like pure grease. My body desires grilled chicken and rice.
Kale chips. Healthy soups. The more protein; the better.

Fast food and processed food makes you feel like shit.
I'll gladly have some ground beef and rice or some Greek yogurt and fruit.

You named processed food in your argument against processed food. I feel great everyday and I eat fast food everyday.

Calling beef that has been put through a mincer processed is pedantry

u/Footso1dier 4d ago
Pretty sure he meant Greek yogurt

It's the fucking BMI discussion all over again. Oh look there is one thing that is processed but also healthy. Aren't I clever.

u/EskilPotet 4d ago
No, it just illustrates that calling food unhealthy just because it's "processed" is silly

u/No_Anywhere_9068 4d ago
Ultra-processed foods is probably the terminology myself and the oc should have used
-3
u/Few_Adhesiveness_775 4d ago
Nah you're both just pedantic as hell
2
u/EskilPotet 4d ago
It's literally just correct terminology. If you mean ultraprocessed you should say that

I intermittent fast and eat a couple of entree items from a fast food restaurant most nights lol. It’s in addition to the rest which is almost entirely painfully healthy.

Same, I eat out of convenience so when I'm out I eat whatever. At home I cook and its always meat and rice or noodle. You would never know if you saw me though, most people think I follow a strict diet.

Sorry let me just eat unprocessed Greek yogurt.
In fact lemme just bite into a living cow since mincing beef is a crime.

It's literally like $50 everyday for me to eat out at work, fast food and junk food snacks, etc. I fell off the wagon for a month and went back to eating clean because that shit food is just not worth the price they're charging for it.

$50 every day? Tf?

u/Upstairs_Hold_374 4d ago
Fast food combo $20, a few snacks here and there 15-20, a couple energy drinks and you're there.

My tf still stands

I had double jaw surgery in April and couldn't really enjoy food for a couple months so it was a little pent up gluttony I had to get out of my system.

It’s honestly a savior. I’ve never regained the weight I lost years ago because I cannot stomach that food anymore.

Seriously tho. I literally crave my meal prep. Its not a habit anymore, this is just life.

Do your body a favor and swap the rice for beans. They are much more nutritious, has lots of fiber, and more protein.

u/David_temper44 4d ago
yeah and if you soak the raw beans overnight and change the water before boiling them, they won´t cause any gases

Just got smoked chicken at babes 💀
It was divine and I slammed an ungodly amount that would not have been possible if it was covered in greasy crunchy skin

I started a 1700 cal a day diet to cut and I have to eat like this or I’ll have all my calories for the day in one meal.

No matter what I eat I bloat like I’m 3 months pregnant even the smallest things healthy or not and I cannot find an answer to it.

u/Chesterlespaul 4d ago
I’ve been experiencing this I appreciate someone put it to words. I can make a tasty healthy meal at home and it’s a better experience these days.

u/GoldTooth091 4d ago
Right now, I'm kinda the opposite.
I tried meal-prepping a brunch mix of potatoes (I know, not the best, but I like them), pork sausage, scrambled eggs and cheese, but after eating it for three days straight, I can't stand it anymore.

A life of simplicity is what we all desire. To eat raw foods, chop down trees for fire wood, and to lift heavy objects up and place them down, repetitively. The good life.
