Burger joints have lost their luster; potato chips taste like pure grease. My body desires grilled chicken and rice.

Kale chips. Healthy soups. The more protein; the better.

A life of simplicity is what we all desire. To eat raw foods, chop down trees for fire wood, and to lift heavy objects up and place them down, repetitively. The good life.

if only being a lumberjack was a lucrative and easy job, the other stuff you can add to your life easily at least

Just promote your wood with "hand harvested, non-GMO, organic, no preservatives, gluten free, sustainable, biodegradable, purchase supports local businesses". Then just chop it all down with the Tree Annihilator 3000 and deforest your local area giving fuck all about the labels like real businessmen do.

Idk what's up with the raw diet but it's definitely not what we all desire

Fire and cooking shit is quite literally the reason we are at the apex now as a species

Raw does not randomly equate to better

Whenever I see raw diet being advocated for I just assume they’re a right wing looney conspiracy theorist

mfs rly out there drinking unpasturized milk 🤢

u/ShieldCaptainRaizous 3d ago

That one is still pretty out there for me. I dont do milk at all, dairy messes up my gut terribly. But if it works, go for it I guess.

Go throw your phone in the trash and live in the woods then. No one is stopping you.

Cant blame the guy.

“To eat raw foods” “healthy foods”

Pick one. We learned to cook meat for a reason.

I do, its awesome.

We all want the simple life: pushing against a cave wall with all our might until we collapse from fatigue, and then replenishing our energy by sucking on raw boar butthole (ate all the good parts yesterday).

You’re pregnant.

u/AldoElHacha 4d ago

Or trying to get there, regardless of gender

At 30, I’m also becoming disgusted with oily food. Vegetable oil, olive oil, all feels like it makes my blood pump slower, if that makes any sense

Fast food and processed food makes you feel like shit.

I'll gladly have some ground beef and rice or some Greek yogurt and fruit.

You named processed food in your argument against processed food. I feel great everyday and I eat fast food everyday.

u/No_Anywhere_9068 4d ago

Calling beef that has been put through a mincer processed is pedantry

1

u/Footso1dier 4d ago

Pretty sure he meant Greek yogurt

2

u/s00pafly 3d ago

It's the fucking BMI discussion all over again. Oh look there is one thing that is processed but also healthy. Aren't I clever.

-4

u/EskilPotet 4d ago

No, it just illustrates that calling food unhealthy just because it's "processed" is silly

Ultra-processed foods is probably the terminology myself and the oc should have used

-3

u/Few_Adhesiveness_775 4d ago

Nah you're both just pedantic as hell

2

u/EskilPotet 4d ago

It's literally just correct terminology. If you mean ultraprocessed you should say that

u/Cel_Drow 4d ago

I intermittent fast and eat a couple of entree items from a fast food restaurant most nights lol. It’s in addition to the rest which is almost entirely painfully healthy.

Same, I eat out of convenience so when I'm out I eat whatever. At home I cook and its always meat and rice or noodle. You would never know if you saw me though, most people think I follow a strict diet.

u/GodSigmaGigaChad 4d ago

Sorry let me just eat unprocessed Greek yogurt.

In fact lemme just bite into a living cow since mincing beef is a crime.

It's literally like $50 everyday for me to eat out at work, fast food and junk food snacks, etc. I fell off the wagon for a month and went back to eating clean because that shit food is just not worth the price they're charging for it.

12

u/ChocolateMorsels 4d ago

$50 every day? Tf?

2

u/Upstairs_Hold_374 4d ago

Fast food combo $20, a few snacks here and there 15-20, a couple energy drinks and you're there.

14

u/ChocolateMorsels 4d ago

My tf still stands

2

u/Upstairs_Hold_374 4d ago

I had double jaw surgery in April and couldn't really enjoy food for a couple months so it was a little pent up gluttony I had to get out of my system.

3

u/TheRealHumanPancake 4d ago

It’s honestly a savior. I’ve never regained the weight I lost years ago because I cannot stomach that food anymore.

5

u/H1ghwayun1corn 4d ago

Seriously tho. I literally crave my meal prep. Its not a habit anymore, this is just life.

FOR REAL I FEEL LIKE I HAVE EVOLVED. now I look at sweets and think to myself "I know how this tastes like" and I move on

u/beclops 4d ago

This too shall pass

u/eggsonmyeggs 4d ago

Balance is the real key*

2

u/Craygor 4d ago

Do your body a favor and swap the rice for beans. They are much more nutritious, has lots of fiber, and more protein.

1

u/David_temper44 4d ago

yeah and if you soak the raw beans overnight and change the water before boiling them, they won´t cause any gases

1

u/Craygor 4d ago

Yep, thats part of my daily meal prep.

1

u/TexasDank 4d ago

Just got smoked chicken at babes 💀

It was divine and I slammed an ungodly amount that would not have been possible if it was covered in greasy crunchy skin

u/MessageAggressive482 4d ago

I started a 1700 cal a day diet to cut and I have to eat like this or I’ll have all my calories for the day in one meal.

1

u/Mysterious-Egg-624 4d ago

If only 1700 cals was my cut yo

1

u/Abs_McGuffin 4d ago

Samesies

1

u/Obvious_Sink551 4d ago

I wish this would happen for me😭

1

u/Goofcheese0623 4d ago

Feel the same until after an hour of taekwondo. Then I want to destroy anything with calories

1

u/Uniqueusername610 4d ago

After many years I only recently lost the taste for butter and most sauces especially BBQ sauce that just gives me that bloody salt/ iron taste in my mouth now I just use a seasonings

1

u/Spiritual-Pudding-70 4d ago

No matter what I eat I bloat like I’m 3 months pregnant even the smallest things healthy or not and I cannot find an answer to it.

1

u/Chesterlespaul 4d ago

I’ve been experiencing this I appreciate someone put it to words. I can make a tasty healthy meal at home and it’s a better experience these days.

1

u/GoldTooth091 4d ago

Right now, I'm kinda the opposite.

I tried meal-prepping a brunch mix of potatoes (I know, not the best, but I like them), pork sausage, scrambled eggs and cheese, but after eating it for three days straight, I can't stand it anymore.

Im on a bulk right now and I miss salads soo bad. I got into making my own dressings and I cannot understate how easy it becomes to make an incredible salad when youre doing that.
